The ESFTA only require the importer, exporter or manufacturer to make a declaration of the originating status of the product. For the purpose of obtaining preferential tariff treatment in another Party, a proof of origin in the form of an origin declaration shall be completed by an exporter of a Party for products which can be considered as products originating in a Party and which fulfil the other requirements The origin declaration referred to in paragraph 1, shall have the following wording: "The exporter of the products covered by this document (customs authorization No The origin declaration may be provided on an invoice or any other commercial document which describes the products concerned in sufficient detail to enable them to be identified. The ESFTA also sets out a set of administrative procedures for the implementation of the ROO. This system of certification is a trade facilitative procedure that simplifies documentation procedures and will help Singapore exporters to EFTA. |
